GTI Statia

GTI Statia (“GTIS”) is located on a Dutch island in the Caribbean and is one of the largest independent bulk liquid storage terminals serving the US Gulf Coast and Caribbean markets. The terminal forms part of Prostar’s bulk liquid storage company, Global Terminal Investments, with more than 24 million barrels (3.7m m³) in aggregate bulk liquid storage capacity.

GTIS is a leader in initiatives towards net-zero carbon emissions through operational initiatives to improve energy consumption and reduce waste, thereby reducing its carbon footprint. The terminal also provides storage for ultra-low sulfur fuel oil that is IMO 2020 compliant, significantly reducing sulfur emissions of marine fuels. The terminal also complies with the highest European safety standards and has achieved more than 350,000 safe employee hours of continuous operation.
